Tendering, trainings, workshops in Macedonia
Look for Operacija Biznis

Due to a winter season and holidays, CEFE Macedonia has started its activities in January only in the second half of the month. Nevertheless, the activity was very intensive and fruitful.
CEFE Macedonia has organized one-day Appreciation workshop for the biggest private university in Macedonia- FON Univerzitet. They have their branches in Skopje, Struga and Strumica. During the preliminary discussion with the management of the University, their proposal during the Workshop was to cover the financial topics, like “Cost Calculation”, “Financial Management”, “Cash Flow”, “Break even Point”… Therefore, we have organized the following Exercises:
Crown Exercise,
Call for a Tender and
Balance Sheet Exercise.
The feedback was positive, so we are in a phase of proposals how we can implement CEFE trainings to students for the next 2010/2011 study year.
In between, CEFE Macedonia has agreed to step into a project “Operacija Biznis” (www.operacijabiznis.com.mk) with FON Univerzitet as a main partner, as well as A1 Television, the leading private National Broadcasting TV Station in Macedonia. The role of CEFE Macedonia is to design 12 tasks (exercises) for the participants who will run the show.

In between, 4 CEFE Trainers from our organization (Joveski Pece, Visar Ademi, Stalevski Jovan and Vitanov Zoran) continued with the realization of new, annexed program for continuation of Training of women entrepreneurs, through EBRD, TAM BAS program. Namely, because of successfully realization of six trainings in 2009 (151 women were trained on three days entrepreneurship trainings), and because of big interest of the participants, EBRD has decided to continue with additional four trainings in 2010. In January, 22nd-24th was realized the first trainings. Next three are planned to be realized in February. This Contract was won on tender.

During January, three more programs were standardized according to rules defined in Contract with ORF:

1. Public Private Partnership Training for Developing Green Markets
2. Effective Sales Communication Process Training, and
3. Change Management Program

On 29th of January, CEFE Macedonia took participation on a Call for a Tender, organized by Italian NGO “GVC-Italia” (www.gvc-italia.org). They are asking for Entrepreneurship development trainings for SME from the region of National Park “Mavrovo” in Macedonia. The target group is 10 to 20 people living in the region of the National Park, owners of companies who are dealing with tourism, transport, ecology and environment as well as healthy food, or start ups. CEFE Macedonia Working With Business Start-Up Centre Bitola

CEFE Macedonia has started its activities in December with new type of seminars for the old client- Business Start Up Centre Bitola under the SPARK Program (www.bscbitola.org). Till now, several seminars were held on topics of preparation of Business Plan. This time, the topic was how to implement the Business plan. The first seminar of this kind was organized on 01st – 03rd of December 2009 in Prilep. The total number of participants was 28, of which half were already participants on previous seminars. It means that this one was a follow up for them, while the second half of the participants came for first time on trainings with CEFE methodology. The feed back was positive, and the workshop was evaluated with maximum. Therefore, the organizer has decided to organize another workshop with the same topic in Bitola.
Since the participants appreciate the quality of the trainings, they have initiated and CEFE Macedonia and BSC have accepted a two days training on completely new topic “Seasonal Selling Techniques”. This topic appears as very attractive at the moment, since the Christmas and the New Year holidays are coming. The workshop was done at 17th and 18th of December 2009.
December is the last month of the first part of the project for “Strengthening the entrepreneurial skills for women in business” organized by Turn Around Management/ Business Advisory Service (TAM/BAS) Programme (www.basprog.com.mk), financed by European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The sixth workshop (the last one in 2009) for training the women entrepreneurs was organized in Kumanovo, 03rd – 05th of December, 2009. Since the feed back and evaluation of all six trainings was excellent, CEFE Macedonia made extension of the main Contract with Annex. That means that we should organize additional three workshops with the same topic in January/February, 2010.
On 5th of December, CEFE Macedonia has made an one day Appreciation workshop on Team Building and communication in the sector, and among the sectors in QBE Insurance company ( http://www.qbeeurope.com/makedonija ). The aim was to promote the methodology, since QBE is planning more training on its stuff during the whole next year. QBE Macedonia is the leading insurance company in the country. The seat of the company is in Australia, where they are also the leading insurance company on the Australian market.

Under the frames of ORF contract, CEFE Macedonia is continuing with the standardization of new training programs. During December, we are preparing standardization of three other topics on selling, like:

1. Effective sales communication process
2. Advanced sales negotiation techniques
3. Leadership skills for best performance

as well as standardization of additional two programs on Public Private Partnership (PPP) topic- “Building of Schools with PPP” and “Investment in Green Markets with PPP” and of course, standardization of the topic already mentioned above: “Seasonal Selling Techniques”.
